John has worked with multiple franchises over the past 30 years. His hotel career, which began in 1986, is full of extensive experience including positions such as Director of Catering, Director of Sales, Director of Hospitality, and General Manager. John's hands on experience with both full service and limited service hotels provides him with the experience necessary to effectively direct property management. John believes that good, consistent communication is imperative, so he spends a significant amount of his time working with property managers on tasks such as customer service, revenue management, expense control, and property maintenance.
John’s well-rounded experience provides hotel owners and property management with the unique mix of both operational and sales expertise that they deserve. He has experience managing multiple portfolios and restaurants at the same time, as well as experience with franchises including Hampton Inn, Radisson, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Ramada, Wingate, Days Inn, Microtel, Comfort Suites and several non-franchised hotels. In addition, he has experience with TGI Friday’s restaurants.
John graduated from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
